Woman Drops Phone Into The Ocean, Onlooker Captures Footage No One Will Soon Forget

When 27-year-old Teressa Cee embarked upon an exciting vacation to the Bahamas, she planned to sightsee and enjoy the beautiful crystal blue ocean and pristine beaches. Yet, she didn’t expect to get quite so up close and personal with the oceanic creatures.

A dancer for the Miami Heat’s professional dance team who’s enjoyed being a backup dancer for numerous musicians and a model, Teressa is used to being in the spotlight. But it’s her latest comical Facebook post that’s gone viral. Teressa’s encounter with an incredibly polite dolphin has been shared almost 26,000 times and has more than 53,000 reactions. The video is absolutely adorable.

Despite being 27, Teressa squealed with delight like a child when the dolphin did her a huge favor. The self-proclaimed military brat said she was blessed to be able to swim with the dolphins on Blue Lagoon Island like all other vacationers. However, no one else had this type of an encounter with a dolphin.

Teressa was being filmed on a floating platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. To keep her phone safe, she asked someone else to hang on to it for her.

But unfortunately, that person had slippery fingers and he accidentally dropped her phone into the water. It quickly began sinking to the bottom of the lagoon.

Teressa had made friends with a dolphin named Cacique while swimming near them. To Teressa’s surprise, her new pal dove down to the bottom of the lagoon and fetched her phone.

The dolphin came swimming up to the water’s surface with Teressa’s phone in her mouth. Teressa can be heard laughing and shrieking when the dolphin popped up with her cell, then dropped it into another person’s outstretched palms.

Teressa described it as the “cutest thing ever!” She also admitted it would probably never work again after being water logged, but it still was an amazing experience.

Teressa may have lost her phone, but she got something in return that she’ll never forget.

True Story: While in the Bahamas, I had the opportunity to go swimming with dolphins on #BlueLagoonIsland. We were filming on this floating platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. So, against a my better judgment I asked someone to hold my phone for me and he accidentally dropped my phone into water and it sank to the bottom. Cacique, the dolphin, actually retrieved my phone and brought it back up to me. Cutest thing ever! #Unbelievable #Bahamas #DolphinEncounter
